For the last ten years, I have been carving mainly for commisson, specialising in memorial work and sculptures in my workshop based just outside of Lacock , near Corsham, Wiltshire.

Following my graduation in graphic design, I was selected to work at Conran associates as a designer for four years. Then, with the desire to provide a comprehensive but individualistic design service, I entered into a partnership and formed a design company in Soho, London, working as a creative director. During this period I was awarded membership to the Chartered Society of Designers based on the quality of my work.

After I experienced the loss of my parents, I felt the need to move towards another but totally different creative medium that would bring a sense of durability and would also satisfy my personal need to produce sculptural pieces. With this in mind, I undertook training at Weymouth College, specialising in letter cutting and carving. By developing these new skills from two to three dimensional works, I now apply these talents to a rich variety of commissions and personal projects. Working with stone is not only rewarding but also closely linked to nature providing a spiritual and aesthetic quality. I approach my work with constant care and attention to detail; every job is considered seriously and designed individually for a client.
